FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA :: On, Sunday October 2nd, TEAM OC hosted our second COLLEGE COACH DAY featuring UNIVERSITY of RiCHMOND HEAD COACH STEPHY MANTZIARAS! A fabulous personality mixed with amazing lacrosse expertise made the perfect combination for our members + resulted in a great day of lax to the max.
The COLLEGE COACH DAY was held from 9am-1pm @ Masuda Middle School. Members were challenged with a highly dynamic, super fun day of lacrosse guided by Stephy and our awesome TEAM OC staff.
We are honored Stephy was able to spend the day with all of our members! She was able to breakdown the defensive principals and has helped to lay the foundation for our players to ROCK IT! THANK YOU SO MUCH Coach Mantziaras for all of your help! We will continue to push ourselves to be our best!
This was another great opportunity for players in SoCal to witness the highest level of defensive instruction from a top DI coach as well as a former UVA All American + TEAM USA member. We are psyched to provide our members with amazing opportunities like this one to become premier players on the national lacrosse scene.

COACH ALY :: I loved seeing the eager minds of the players excited to hear the defensive techniques of Coach Stephy. All the players were incredibly coachable with working on crease defense. The desire to improve was very apparent during the full 2 hours of lacrosse. I am proud to coach such devoted lacrosse players.
COACH DAVE :: One of the best parts of the day was seeing those girls that were excited about learning new things from another great coach and then integrating them into their game! Being pumped up and enthusiastic about improving your game, being outside with people who share your passion, and having a chance to play lax is a great opportunity, and I love it when I see that you recognize it for what it is! Big question: How hard would you play and how much would you enjoy the day if you knew it was the LAST time you ever got to play? THAT IS HOW YOU SHOULD PLAY EVERY TIME!!!!
