What is club lacrosse?
Think ODP Soccer ... only LACROSSE! It's mainly meant to provide girls with more learning + playing opportunities outside of their MS + HS seasons. For those girls that might want to pursue lacrosse in college, it will provide resources and exposure as well.

What is the TEAM OC coaching philosophy?
Our philosophy about teaching girls is all about confidence and self-esteem. Our coaches approach the game with a backbone of lacrosse expertise and a soul for helping girls believe they can be great. We are known for the way we coach the modern game, which certainly makes us qualified as teachers. But, our slogan YOU ARE WHO YOU ARE. SO, BE IT. is what qualifies us as leaders of awesomeness, role models of laughter, motivators of excitement and icons of fun.

What if I've never played LAX before??
We still luv ya! TEAM OC is a great place to LEARN. Don't be shy, don't be nervous ... just be ready to rock and to laugh ... a lot!

Is there a tryout for TEAM OC?
Nope! All you need to do is SIGN UP! On opening day we will do a TEAM PLACEMENT where each player will be evaluated and placed on teams based first, according to grad year, and then by skill level.

Can I get involved with TEAM OC?
YES!! There are so many ways to get involved: As a PLAYER/MEMBER, as a COACH (6+ hours of BOUNCE TRAINING), as a GUIDE (2+ hours of BOUNCE TRAINING), or as a C-LINK (work to link the TEAM OC lax community together). There is a place for everyone at TEAM OC! Just let us know you're interested and we will get you involved!

What is the role of a TEAM OC GUIDE?
Guides will help coaches manage drills at practices and run STICKWORK SUNDAYS. Our guides will undergo 2+ hours of BOUNCE TRAINING and will be expected to motivate, support, and encourage all of our members throughout practices!

What is the role of a TEAM OC C-LINK?
The C-LINK is a group dedicated to enhancing the community feel within TEAM OC. C-LINKs will set up tailgates, plan events, organize carpools, etc. to keep the TEAM OC camaraderie high!

What is the ELITE TEAM?
The ELITE TEAM is for girls on TEAM OC looking for a more competitive playing experience. Our ELITE TEAM will consist of 18 players (17 field + 1 goalie) who will practice together and participate in top tournaments in the region. In order to be on the elite team, you will have to try-out. This membership is an additional $300 for the summer.

What sets the ELITE TEAM apart from TEAM OC?
All players interested in the ELITE TEAM must try out. We will hold a try out at the beginning of each season (summer + fall) to evaluate players. Only 18 players will be taken on the team and these 18 will receive a ton of attention from an AWESOME coach. ELITE members will attend tournaments throughout the year and our focus will be on competition, individual skill development, and understanding of team concepts + strategies.

What if I need a refund but I didn't get injured?
BOUNCE ENTERTAINMENT has a NO REFUND POLICY. However, we will take refund requests on a case by case basis. If your request is granted, you will be charged a $50 administration and processing fee.

What is BOUNCE?
BOUNCE is the umbrella company that owns and operates TEAM OC. BOUNCE also owns 3 other club lacrosse teams in TX, GA, + CT. The BOUNCE main office is located in Brooklyn, NY. Fugghedabboudit.

What is XTEAM?
XTEAM is a national club lacrosse team for girls who are serious about pursuing lacrosse at the collegiate level.

Why are there so many girls from CA on XTEAM?
XTEAM focuses on providing girls from "non-traditional" areas with the same opportunities of being recruited to play lacrosse in college as girls from the traditional lax areas. All XTEAMers join knowing they want to pursue playing lacrosse in college and therefore our expectations of them are commensurate with that declaration. XTEAM girls and their families are committed to travel and gain exposure playing at big recruiting events as an integral part to achieving their goal of playing in college. Local XTEAMers from CA are expected to attend local practices and playdays with TEAM OC.
