SUMMER LEAGUE TIME IS HERE! With 12 teams competing, this summer in OC definintely promises some amazing competition. Girls from over 10 different high schools will be participating each Saturday in round robin play that will ultimately name a SUMMER LEAGUE CHAMPION!
Suzette Soboti will be directing this weekend + hosting a COACH TRAINING from 12-1pm on BALL-HELP-SLIDE DEFENSE!

:: THE DEAL
1 - DIRECTOR :: Suzette Soboti will be there to get the games going + provide info.
2 - GAMES :: Games will be 2x 25 min halves with a 5 min half time!
3 ˆ REFEREES :: Refs have been instructed to keep the pace of the game with a priority on safety, of course.
4 - WARM-UP :: Please allow ample time for warm-up as games will start on time. You may use any available part of the track or vacant sideline area to properly prepare.
5 - 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO GAME TIME :: Suzette will address your team (all should be present) + give you a run down of info to pass along (including info on the AMBASSADOR PROGRAM).
6 - WEAR :: Please have your teams where a pinnie or at least matching shirt colors. We have pinnies available at the field + reccommend you wear your BOUNCE POPU LEAGUE t-shirts!
7 - ICE/WATER + FIRST AID :: We will have all basic materials, however, you should instruct players to bring full water bottles + aptly prepare for competition.
8 - CLOSING GAME CEREMONY :: At the end of each summer league game, after a short team cheer, teams will shake hands and then line-up across from each other at center field. A team representative will address the thoughts of the team and give the other team 3 „hip-hips‰. Then, the other team will repeat. Losing team goes first. This is to honor the international tradition established at the highest level of play. It‚s all about camaraderie + appreciation for a game well-fought. Suzette will help and will encourage coaches to speak for this first weekend. Further cheers should be led by players.
9 - SPORTSMANSHIP :: Get your players to buy into the fact that we are a community. Competition is great + on-field dueling is not personal. This is something we need to teach these girls through leading by example. Please monitor your parents + help us build a community that appreciates honorable battling.
10 - AMBASSADOR PROGRAM :: For any of your players interested in participating in our BOUNCE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM, Suzette will have more details how to apply. This is a great opportunity for players to learn about coaching + get some hands on experience as they go through our BOUNCE training program.
