HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA // On Sunday, April 10, 120 girls lacrosse players from the Los Angeles + Orange County region gathered at Aliso Niguel High School to try out for the 2011 OC/LA Women’s Division National Tournament Team. The team was selected by a few regional college coaches including Lindsey Munday (USC), Ginger Miles (Claremont McKenna), Suzette Soboti (Redlands), and Michelle Uhlfelder (Occidental).

The 7 hour day consisted of intense drills and scrimmages as players battled it out on the field to determine the who’s who in SoCal lax. 18 field players and 2 goalies were chosen to represent the OC/LA region at the 2011 WDNT. This team will play against others from around the country, representing their regions in conjunction with the 2011 NCAA Division 1 Finals held in Stonybrook, NY over Memorial Day Weekend.
